Ahmadabad| The BJP party president Amit Shah held ‘Chintan Shivir’ in Ahemdabad, Gujarat yesterday is believed to be the party’s effort to shape their plans for the upcoming Gujarat assembly election next year.
According to a party advert, the party president discussed various topics of concerns with the state Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel, state party in-charge Dinesh Sharma, national organising secretary of the party V Satish, BJP national vice-president and Union Minister Purshottam Rupala and former Chief Minister Anandiben Patel and other top party leaders.
Shah was in his home state Gujarat on a four day tour that he had to cancel after a day.
The Gujarat BJP Chintan Shibir began at a private club near Bavla in Ahmedabad district this Sunday. The meeting is considered important owing to the party’s strategy for upcoming gram panchayat elections and demonetisiation & its effect in the state, apart from the preparations for the 2017 assembly elections.
