The country was doubtful of digital economy at first but is accepting it now
New Delhi| India has taken up the movement to embrace digital transactions with "unprecedented vigour", Prime Minister Narendra Modi said while commenting on DigiDhan Mela organised in Goa.
"Today's #DigiDhanMela in Goa saw widescale participation. Colleagues @manoharparrikar, Shri Shripad Naik & CM Parsekar also took part," Modi tweeted.
"India has taken up the movement to embrace digital transactions with unprecedented vigour. My gratitude to people of India," he added.
Here in Delhi, BJP president Manoj Tiwari also said that people were "doubtful" about the success of cashless economic system on November 28 but now more and more people are accepting it because of the benefits.
Participating in a 'support march' by Delhi BJP SC Morcha to promote cashless economic system, Tiwari thanked the people of national capital for their co-operation in the first phase of the long term plan for the development of Cashless Economy.
